Is a torque wrench essential when tightening components such as spark plugs? I have talked to some people, and they said that as long as I don't overtighten, everything should be fine. At the same time, I don't want them to be too loose and have other problems. Any help is appreciated.

Think about how much it'd suck to break one off inside the head.

its a bitch to remove, sometimes you have to chip it out of there, and risk damaging the head. i know it hapened to me to my first car. if you want to be safe just use hondaman-iac's idea, cause that is what i use know and everything is fine
