Hi!

No one ever explained to me, how exactly to download using MIRC.

I kinda know the channels and stuff, but I dont know how to search for channels on a certain matter (movies..)

Second, when in the channel, what do I type, for it to find what I'm looking for.

Third, How do I download it, once i see that someone has what I'm looking for.

Anything else I need to know?

wello you gotta know about the channels that have file servers on. You cannot do a search on mirc for them.

Searching for different files depends on the fileserver the user has. Most of them have this commands:

@find filename -finds a file.
if there is somebody that has them it will pop out in a new private message window and will display the filename and info. You need to copy the filename and then on the cahnnel type

!nick filename. it will put you on user's que with the filename. sometimes you need to wait for it to start downloading.

You might get some messages that you need to send !nick not as a private message.

yes but is not registered yet. we need like 10 people there daily, for one month and then we will need to register the channel. So far op gets the first one that's on the channel.
