eh, a b16 should handle a good ammount on stock internals. It's just, if you're going to run 10 (about the limit of the stock MAP sensor), you probably aren't giong to want to bring it to redline at every stoplight.

ShEaNy is about right. 8-9 psi on stock internals will be fine. Although if it was me, I would push it to 12 psi dyno tuned with stand alone or Hondata running with bigger injectors and 255 LPH fuel pump.

yes you can.

I turboed a D15B VTEC last year with a TD04-13T from an auto Eclipse. I did the same set-up as my AFC hack. That focker was fast and only at 8 psi. He raced another EG with a JDM ITR swap and beat it. I almost scared to race him. Too bad his car got stolen a week after I finished his set-up..... :o

i have a d15b7 engine would it be ok to turbo since it's non vtec, and would i be better going for a turbo b16a scince its only 400-600 pounds extra??

nothing wrong with boosting a stock D15. theres 2 people around here with boost D15 beating boosted B16s.

That all depends on your long term plan. I personally cant stand double spending, especially with force induction cuz better products come out constantly. If you plan to have just a streetable daily driven turbo civic, then by all means boost that D15. If you plan to go a little more than just having fun with a boosted D15, then build a B-series and turbo it. i used to have both boosted D and B series. Both fun. But the difference is major. I scare myself driving my old boosted ITR motor.
