Let me set the scene first; there is a really hot girl named Leslie here on campus that I've been friends with for months. She and I have recently started hanging out a LOT, I'm talking at least 2 hours a day. She has a long-distance boyfriend, but they've only been dating a month or so and everyone sees them breaking up soon. Annnnnyway, here we go.

I had an odd dream last night. I dreamt I went to see a movie with a girl I really liked, but the theatre wasn't clean yet so we had to wait a few minutes. She and I were sitting outside the theatre patiently waiting for it to be cleaned, when another couple came up and sat beside us. The other guy immediately starting hitting on my girl, and wouldn't stop. Then he put his arm around her and started trying to nuzzle with her. All the time the girl he came with was just sitting there, acting as if nothing odd was happening. I kept telling the basturd to stop, but he wouldn't. Finally I challenged him to a fight, so we fought right there in the theatre. We fought ourselves all the way through the hall and into the bathroom, where I got him down and began beating his head against the tile wall until he was dead. I then washed my hands and went to see the movie with the girl I brought. Then I woke up.

Fast forward to tonight. I went to dinner with Leslie tonight and told her about this dream. She told me that the night before, her long-distance BF came to visit and they went to see a movie. Here is the freaky part; the theatre wasn't ready to be sat, so they had to wait to get in... and she got hit on by another guy who was with a different girl...

Kinda freaking out... any ideas?

It is the prophecy...starring Christopher Walken.:D

Seriously though...I've had dreams like that. Ones that seemed to mirror my life at some point. I always figured it was my subconscio us trying to tell me something. Either that or it was just weird coincidence. Either way...I always tell people that I'm psychic.

I've had lots of weird ass dreams and some serious cases of deja vu before

one day in middleschool I was seriously freaking out cause the entire day was as if I had already done it. I was calling the shots every other minute..thikning to myself that this is what is going happen in 5 minutes and it did....man I was flipping out and no I wasn't high or something

not uncommon though, i've prophecied in dreams before. I dreamt that i was going to see one of my hott teachers in a certain hallway and we had a conversation about something weird, and then next day that's exactly what happened.

i demand an explanation for this deja vu shit

Deja Vu is caused by one side of the brain recieving and processing information a microsecond before the other side of the brain; then when the two sides "talk" to each other, one tells the other it has already happened. All this happens too fast for the event to be stored into memory before the feeling of Deja Vu, so you know/think it happened to you before, but you can never remember exactly when it was, because the event was merely a microsecond earlier and not yet stored in the memory.

As far as doing something the day after you dreamed you did it; that is most likely subconcious motives getting you to take a course of action ensuring the event in your dream would come true, if you wanted it to... the power of the mind is insane. :)

but my entire day of deja vu occured in a dream prior and while it was happening I was recognizing it from a dream i had like a week ago
