Going all show and no go is ricey too:yes: . Some ppl spend close to 10 grand on their looks with kits, rims, etc. But don't spend a penny on their engine and suspension. I hate that.

between you and TruHeel, thats what the blown out of proportion term of Rice means.......in no way is that stuff ricey, its just retarded (some of it, imo). and if i go all out show with my hatch.....it will have a wild body kit, so does that make me rice? no, it doesnt. im not advertising things i dont have on my car.
and as for the show people whom dont mod their engines.....so what? maybe they arent as performance oriented as the next guy. some people dont need to be able to haul ass around the street and rack up tickets, they just need a car that LOOKS good, and props to those that make their car look nice w/o HAVING to run 10's in the 1/4.

See thats the messed up part about the whole am I "ricey" ordeal

everyone have a different opinion on what rice is. I say screw what everyone thinks. Put the car together how you like it, and dont worry what people will think of this mod or that mod.

My idea of rice is people that have stickers of companies on their cars that dont have any parts from the company, homemade wooden wings, Big chrome tips on stock exhaust, chrome or painted hubcaps.. Stuff like that.. I dont see altezzas, or aluminum wings, body kits, and stuff like that as being ricey. If you like that stuff then good for you, and if not then good for you still.

So I wouldnt worry about it to much..:rolleyes:

I agree. I rarely, if ever, use the word "rice". People should just mod their cars they way they like and not worry what others think. All go and no show is NOT rice in the least bit.

i don't know about the whole body kit, Altezzas, and Aluminum Spoilers being rice, but i think the thing about stickers is true!! people where i am from do this stuff all the time and it really makes me mad!!
