what transmission mount do you have to take off to pull out the tranny on the y8, I know the front mount and the side but is there one in the back?? and what mounts are different from the auto and the manual on the engine side

There is no "engine/trany" mount on the front. What you are thinking is the passenger side torque mount.

Anyway, you will have to unbolt all 3 of them:
-passenger side torque mount
-passenger side tranny mount
-rear engine/tranny mount

yes there is a rear mount. It may seem that it doesnt affect the tranny looking from the ooutside, but the bolts on those are long, penetrating both the engine and tranny housing. You'll need these sockets:
-14mm deep
-17mm deep and regular
-19mm regular

There are 3 bolts to loosen on the rear mount (no need to loosen the one on the chassis), 4 bolts on the side mount, and 5 on the torque mount.

From auto to manual should only require the passenger side to be replaced. not sure about the torque mount. The rear mount should be the same

yea the passenger side torque mount is basically in the front by the slave cylinder, and is has two bolts going into the tranny that I can see from the outside ????

on the torque mount, there should be 3 bolted to the tranny... unless I'm thinking B-series, and 2 14mm head the bolts on the frame
