Thought id put this here since the Mid-atlantic thread is dead. But this is for the Ohio people or anyone else who wants to help us out and sign it. Pretty much there trying to get rid of the front plate which would be awesome if it happened!

Seriously there pushing this right now in Ohio. Its up for a vote here soon so this isnt only the damn site bringing this up there tryin to help. I hope it goes away sick of seeing all my front plates sit in my window lol

Well...if the internet has taught me anything, it's that nobody cares what anyone else has to say. That goes double for elected officials. I've seen countless links to online petitions...and none of them have done a single bit of good. Besides...why would an official in Ohio care what some guy in Kansas or California or Florida thinks anyway?

On a side note...I never really understood why some states require front plates. Kansas doesn't, but Missouri does. It's just another slab of metal to screw onto your car every few years.

Unless they can constantly ticket people for not having front plates. Then you're making money, not wasting it.

but seirously...im not looking forward to having to throw a plate on the front of my car when i move to cali...not to mention i cut the plastic shit out of the front bumper that you would mount the plate on:o

yea front plates suck.. mine gets demolished in the winter time from hitting snow banks

actually... if they charge you say $20 for jsut the back, and $35 for the front and back. they cost maybe $5 to make. the second one is no extra work besides materials so in the long run, they make more money.
