EG Help. :(

I went to a friend's house to see what's up with his car..Eg, 1.5 CX. It's not starting. It turns over, but that's about it. I checked the spark plugs..there's sparks. I have yet to check the fuel pump..but other than that, what could be wrong? I hafta go to work..I''m gonna hop over to his house after work to check the car and the forums. Hope I get feedback by then!

uhh is the spark strong enough ? it might be that the igniter is bad. i had spark but it was very weak when it happened on my accord

Thats a good point. My igniter went two weeks ago. My car was acting the same way. Just barley turning over but not starting. Check that out.

It's got gas. The igniter is strong, enough spark. I can hear the fuel pump..would it be the distributor?

Tomorrow is Asian New Years, so I'm back at my parents house for the next day or two..I won't be looking at his car until Thursday. In the meantime, I'd like to figure it out.

Ideas?

What is the spark level/strength? Can you test that when you get back?
I guess check the dist parts...wouldnt hurt.
