ok, i have been toying with the idea of a new project. the prelude is nice and quick, but its not rwd, and a turbo on a stock h22(internals) with my miles isnt the brightest idea......
ideas:
1. buy a early 90's 240sx fastback swap sr20det in. that will get me in a car with 205hp engine plus mods done durring swap(downpipe, exaust, FMIC, etc. so i'll say possibly 260-270hp (turbo remember) that puts me in a rwd car in my price range, paid off, turbo, and fast
2. sc300 lexus. i could buy the car and have a little bit of playing money. its rwd i save up, buy a 2jz motor(supraTT 6spd yada yada) and after installed, for anothe 1000 dollars 400RWHP. i have a supra in a lexus body. i get speed and style. and have one hell of a perfect hybrid.
3. gsx. i get a eclipse gsx or talon tsi, already turbo'd possibility of problems(i have dsm friends, and have seen thier pain) but hp is plentiful on stock motor.
4. turbo the prelude. i get a fmax kit, leak pressure test it, make sure the engine is good, run 5 psi daily, 9 on track. 9psi will put me around 300 Fwhp so i still have bad 60-fts, and i probobly wont be able to keep traction.
5. go n/a on the lude. its slow, expensive and the gains wont be there, but its possible and i can stop at any time and have the car as is at that point without reliability being a huge issue.
6. keep prelude as is, maybe some more bolt ons, wait till im out of college, and get my 1st year rolling with my new career, save up and buy a skyline or something along those lines.
maybe im just rambling, but i had the idea put in my head 3.5 hours ago and i cant drop it, no matter how hard i try
