Just wondering if there are any other boarders on here. If so what do you ride, and any plans for a trip this winter. I have a Burton Balance, and I am going to sunshine village in Alberta from Feb 4 - Feb 22. I can't wait.

That's cool man. I found once you've learned the basics, it just gets easier and easier. I've been riding for about 10 years now, and love more each year.

I have a Burton and a M3. However, my binding clip snapped, how do I fix it? I was gonna just pass it down to my cousin as its only a 149 but I figured I should attempt to fix it first.
We have a snow house at Mt. Hood [in Oregon] so for those of you who ride and live nearby, feel free to invite yourself over!
Well, almost all of you.

I have a uhh .. liquid board.. that's all I know about it.. I've never ridden it except for little hills locally.. Mountains sound scary. Plus I got it when I was like 12 so now I'd have to buy bigger boots.. Seeing as how I was like 4'5 when I was 12..

I used to snowboard all the time... I haven't gone consistantly in over 5 years though...
I was really good when I stopped going so much...
I still have my 9? burton Craig Kelly (rip) board and the first (possibly only) Terje haakonson board.
My boots are from 90 or earlier though... the rubber insoles have completely deteriorated I have to wear slippers inside the boot to make them fit.
I went this past year and i had a blast...it was my first time going. I took some lessons and got pretty good, but i broke my wrist with a couple days left...

Terje is the man. I have his '98 model. And a '99 148 balance.

good shot of the bindings but it doesn't do the board justice, it's so me.

I love the toe caps.

"capstrap"
yeah they're wicked, it's such a good idea they should've done it years ago. It takes the pressure off the top of your foot and brings your boot into the binding. They're so responsive too, i really feel like the board is part of me now, where on my old setup i felt like i was riding the board ya know?
