Does anyoe know how to install a windows service pack for windows 2000 without being online. My girlfriend's dad just put 2000 on her comp and when we tried to install her internet software it said we needed to upgrade to service but to do that you have to go online. I even tried downloading it on my comp and saving it on disk, but it it still ends up saying you have to connect to finish the install. Thanx guys.

Click the "Go" on the right hand side, and on the next page Download the netowrk install.

Also he shouldn't even be plugged into a network before installing the service pack. And when thats installed, go to windows update and install all the critical patchs

I use the same file that dingo pointed to. Network service installs are fully contained so you don't have to be online.
