I need an alarm for the 95 Civic coupe that I just bought. I'd like to keep the cost under $200, and that's including installation. I've seen tons of different alarms on eBay that come with the little pagers, and it's tempting to get one of those. I'm assuming those alarms are shitty since they're so cheap. So what are some good, fairly cheap car alarms? I'm mainly concerned about protection my sound system. I also want keyless entry, as my old Civic had it and I miss it very, very much. Remote start would be nice, but I doubt I'd use it very often.

Thanks

Precisely...just don't get one of those talking units that makes you look like a douche bag.

Oh...and Derek needs to stop his drunken posting. We need to give him an intervention. Then perhaps you can give me one.

Hey, get either a Clifford or Viper (I think they belong to they're the same company). I just got a Clifford Matrix system installed and it's pretty good. Not too sensitive and lots of functions.
