Got a ticket

Well, most of you know that I blew my Y8 motor. I will post pics later. Anyway, my friend was kind enough to let me drive his 97 ITR until I get my civic back up. Well, this ITR has an SCCA series exhaust system. Loud as fuk.

I was minding my own business making a left turn when a cop car started flashing his lights to me. I knew I wasnt speeding so I stayed calm.

After trying to explain to the cop that the car was not mine (only driving it for 3 days) and my car was broke, he still gave me an exhaust ticket. He told me to get it fixed. I told the focker that my priority is to get my car fixed first and why would I fuck with a car that is not even mine? My buddy who owns the ITR is out of town for a week.

When a mustang passed by loud as hell, he didnt even blink. So my smartass asked him why that car was not harassed. Then he told me not to play games with him. I just shook my head and told him to just hand me the ticket so I can go home. I said I sure hope that this is getting video taped cuz that mustang just flew by loud and he didnt even move. As he was walking away, he said "drive safe". I said "I always do.... and Happy fucking New Year officer"!

I stopped by an ATM. Just my luck, the same cop was there sittin and waiting for another prey. I said fuk it, as I drove away, I made sure that I revved loud enough as I pass by his ass.... what is he gonna do, give me another exhaust ticket...:rolleyes:

It's cops like that that give a bad name for nice cops. I happened to have a run-in with one of the nice cops.. Was very respectful with us so of course we returned the favor. One of my better times with cops if I must say so.

i got a ticket once cause my blinker wasn't yellow (after i cleared out the amber housing) and I told him I had to order the amber bulbes but the officer was cool as hell. plus he commented on my car saying "its just a fix it so i wouldn't be worried just fly by the station once you get that bulb in. you have a really nice car here so drive safe, hate to see it damaged. good night" haha
and I've had a cop pull me over for speeding and we ended up having a 10 minute conversation on the side of the road and he let me go with no ticket haha;)

I've uh.. been "pulled over".. or more of me stopping after a brief attempt at running from them.. and got 4 summons..

I bet the cop didn't get laid on New Year's Eve. Yup, that's my theory for his uptightness.

As for you, sorry to hear about the ticket, take it to court and fight it perhaps?

ive had a noise ticket in the works for a year now through the system ahaha...ah well...ill either get off or pay it off slowly...:o
