well.....

speedo isnt hooked up and im getting a weird niose from the engine bay... probobly a tool or something, but i'll have to look tomorrow and figure out for sure whats up.

the car runs 100x better than i ever remeber it running. tomorrow im going to get everything back in and hopefully 100% working order

after a day of troubleshooting im no longer throwing any codes, and my speedo and everything is working. i now remember why i kept this car... it drives too perfect. its driving like brand new again

oh, since i did a great job at adding the details in on the first post, i swapped out my old h22a1 for a h22a.

im thinking next week sometime i need to get my ass to the track

Congrats. I can't wait to..start working on my motor. Laziness really makes you regret things man.

all that i have left to do is switch over my cam gears if i want to keep them. i'll probobly do that when i go to get my timing belt replaced and that fun stuff within the next 5-10k miles

as for laziness, this is the first "mod" i've done to my car in almost 2.5 years now, im half thinking of getting back into it.

right on chris..what was wrong with ur h22a1 and what's the difference between a h22a and the h22a1?

mine spun a rod berring and i didnt want to bother fixing it since it had 140k miles on it and enough problems to go along with that.

the main difference between the h22a1 and h22a is 10.6:1 compression .6 higher than the h22a1. its got 200hp and 163ft/lb supposably.
