wtf size 5? I wear size 12.. I get jokes made about my feet by my girl and my mom all the time.. Whenever I go shoe shopping my mom is always like "I don't think the sell size "boat" here" and making silly litte cracks every chance she gets.. so abused ;(

strange enough, the ae's are my favorite to drive in. The etnies are just too big and clunky to manage the pedals accurately, and the pumas are too skinny to do heel and toe, since i kinda use the side of my foot.

I was just asking because we always tell customers that our "socks are 40% off today which makes it 8.95" even when it's not just today..and the 8.95 is regular price. Everytime I shop at a Journeys outside of the one I used to work at and they offer me socks, I always tell them that it's bullshit and that's false advertisement. And smile..and walk away as they think I'm rude. :rolleyes:

So you're rude to salespeople who are doing the exact same thing you used to do? How...interesting. Also...if it's an everyday "sale", technically it's not false advertising since you could tell someone stuff is on sale "today" if it is, in fact, on sale everyday.

I can proudly say that I NEVER said it was 40% off. Even when my regional manager was in town and on the floor, I told him that I would'nt use that sales pitch. I never got in trouble for it because my sales goals exceeded anyway. Technically, it's not legal because if someone asks how much the normal price is, they'd be told the false number of the "normal" price. Not everytime do they say it's on say "today," but they do say it's on sale for the time being, for the promotional week, etc etc etc.

You got it correct the second time; yes, they give you the 40% off pitch no matter what. Some people are returning customers/buyers and sometimes ask to see the screen to show the discount...the employees tell them that it's automatically deducted so that it won't even appear as a discount on the screen.
