well i have a chance to get a used b18b engine for a very good price right now that my engine in the teg is almost gone. it comes out of a 96+ teg and i was wondring what kind of mods i will have to do to it to work with my b18a auto ecu. i am mostly interested in wiring issues. also o know the b18b's have one extra motor mount. will it just be a matter of drop in and plug or some wiring will have to be redone ?

I know the difference from the A version to the B version theres a couple things on the intake manifold. Well since its 96 and up you will have to do a OBD2 switch since ours is OBD1. Thas all i know haha

Is the 96+ motor auto? Stef, if the price is unbeatable, get the motor anyway. It's always nice to have an extra B-series. It's easy to get rid of it too when you need cash. I had 3 B18A/B motors at one time and sold all of them in a week. Made mad cash......
