damn, 5.5 million yrs ago this thing walked the earth. i bet earth was a lot better then, then now.

one thing i dont understand is how they can find one of theses skeletons there, but cant find another. you would think youd be able to find more around that area. maybe dig deeper or farther around it.

I love the bbc.
The fact that ANY skeletal remains can be found is what surprises me. The chances of something that old being preserved is so tiny.
