anyone else seen or heard any of the beats? was sitting here on break watching the MTV2 and they had the show for it and I'm impressed. so if you're a fan or even just listen toa few songs of linkin park and/or jayz check it out

I can't agree with that... Linkin park is really good and put on a hell of a show... yes a mix between the two is odd but so far the tracks sound hot...:yes:

Anyway....Jay Z blows and isn't the rapper people make him out to be. I don't like his beats and I think he sucks lyrically.
Linkin park isn't so bad.

Linkin park isn't so bad.

Actually I have more of a problem with LP than with Jay Z. I liked his "99 problems" video with Rick Ruben because...well...Rick Ruben is a god. If you recorded yourself taking a dump and he produced it, chances are he could make it sell well. Fuck man...he's produced a lot of shitty artists that went on to sell tons of albums.

I don't care much for him either...but c'mon...Rick Ruben! He did Run DMC, early Beastie Boys stuff, did a bit of work on Slayer's "God Hates Us All", and even on Johnny Cash's 'American Man" albums. Gotta respect someone who can make such diverse acts kick so much ass.

can't say that I ever did, there were a few songs I thought were catchy but even then I still couldn't bare to listen to them more than a minute...after that I just wanted to shoot myself:)

i like linkn park. jay z has some good songs. by some i mean like 3. i dont see how you can compare the two or even put the two together.

i bought jay z black album. took the three good songs off it and dl them on my comp. then resold the cd. IT SUCKED, almost as much as a weird al cd.
