What I find funny though is that people always complain about microsoft yet they still use it. It is the most user friendly software in the world. If you don't like it that much, don't use it.

I think this is actually an okay step if they are able to beta-test it thoroughly.

Personally I would look forward to it. Think about it all the options that will add, bluetooth, USB connections…..


What pisses you off about it? Bill got lucky with Windows. Its not his fault that everyone started using it. And there are plenty alternates.

I don't think he got lucky...he made a product that was easy to use and one that didn't require a training course to use on a basic level. He simply made a better product (for most people). If people didn't like it's interface, they wouldn't buy it. That's why I could never understand those anti-trust hearings. If people want it, what's the problem? As for me...I've had more than my fair share of problems with Windows stuff, but I don't know how to use Linux so I'm not bitching. Oh...and I don't have a clue what that bluetooth shit is so I'm not impressed. Haha!

yeah everyone is bitching about microsoft, but no one bitches about how bad the third party software vendors write their programs. Ofcourse MS has it's share of problems, but mostly it's the third party software that's fucking your windows up

i do believe bill gates stole many things from apple and steve jobs. so he really never made anything he sorta stole it.

i dont bitch about microsoft or windows. i know how to use linux and use it on my lap top. its better for something and a lot worse for others. esp playing games.

uhhhhh, not true. all three major GUI's (windows, apple and os2 warp) were based on the PARC XEROX computer developed in 78. it had a mouse and a graphical user interface, and it is the basis for the GUIs today, so Jobs can go suck it up. as for linux that is the alternative for those who hate microsoft and think that software should be free. what sucks about linux is that it comes with almost no documentation(especially the red hat versions)
