Karen, I think the costume is cute. It's just one time in the entire year when you can dress up like this [besides your private bedroom with the bf=X] so why not? Idealy, I think it's a little trashy, but if you're good, you can make it look rather cute yet enticing rather than trashy. =]

Keep in mind though, that a lot of times you get treated by the vibe you're supposedly sending out, and this involves looks.

Not to overly complicate it, but I think it's a subconscious thought. No, the costume itself isn't too bad...but the ideas it represents are a bit trashy. Think about it...most drunken (or hell...even sober) college guys (especially retarded frat boys...which is a redundant statement) see a girl in an angel costume and a part of them associates it with innocense.
