Does anyone think that it actually does anything? Or are we all on the "It doesnt work" bandwagon.
Anyone with actual experience?
I had a friend, in high school, who tried some acne medicine that was homeopathic. After a few weeks her face was noticably clearer. I never saw her enough, though, to see if it stayed that way, or ask if she was still using it.
Just curious because it was mentioned in my physio book.

I think it's pretty much all crap...but I'm sure some of it actually works. Hell...most of the medicine people take on a daily basis is based around synthesized versions of chemicals found in nature.

I would like to conduct an experiment with two groups and give one a placebo. Saying that these will clear your acne. And just see if people 'think' that it's getting better.
As far as I'm concerned...i dont know what to think..i don't know enough about them..

I agree, it is all mind over matter. You start to believe it at the tatoo shop.

hmmm...never really had acne too bad so I wouldn't know...I just wash my face a couple times a day and scrub my back the best that I can with a soap like clean and clear foaming soap.
I don't know about the "internal remedies" I think it varies depending on the person's hormones...since everyone's is "wired" differently, no one would get the same results...

It doesnt have to be acne, I just used that as an example.
Homeopathic medicine is basically preventing people from getting sick by use of mixing herbs and natural chemicals..."hippy pills".
More of the same for "feel better" medicine.
Herbal chicken soup, instead of laboratory created pills.

hippy pills... lol. if you beleive it will work and its not a virus that needs special antibiotics to kill it, im convinced your bodys natrual defence system can take care of most common mild medical problems. the "chicken soup" method im guessing is basically giving your body needed protiens and vitamins to let its immune system work. thats my 100% non educated guess at it. i never took a medical class of any sort so if im completely off i wouldnt be supprised

What you said, is basically the whole idea of it, boiled down to 2 sentences.
