These generally look really cool and perform almost as well. I'm of the opinion though that an Eclipse will do the same, if not, better. Of course, this is just my opinion, not necessarily the opinion of this radio station. The 3000GT is also known to be fairly expensive to tune also. But what would I know.

If they're anything like the VR4s, stay away. I don't know much about the SL trim cars, but the VR4s have HORRIBLE reliability records. Plus without a turbo the thing will probably be fairly slow due to it's weight. They don't look too bad, but I wouldn't buy one.

anything but the vr-4 is slow as hell. but the vr-4 has reliability problems. i'd look into a 300zxTT or a 3rd gen rx7(still reliability problems but can be easly upgraded to fix) before that if it was me

i have a friend that has a 92 stealth (same shit) and he never had anyproblems with it, except minor shit like brakes and a timing belt a while ago. i think he has 130k miles on it.

Like everyone else said, the 3KGT looks cool, but this one is non-turbo. Plus it's a Mitsu so it might have some reliability problems. It looks to be in pretty darn good shape body wise...hopefully the previous owner took care of it engine wise too.
I'd look into it more before I'd make a decision if I were you
(EDIT)
I retract my previous statement...I looked at the pics of the car and the interior looks like shit. The shift boot is really worn, the slip mat on the driver's side is torn off, there's tears in the leather upholstery...find something better. There's bound to be something better than this on Ebay

an old 240sx or an old turbo eclipse is what I'd look for.

ive thought about getting one of those for my next car, but i wanted it as a daily driver and not to do any aftermarket stuff one em. my mom has the newer model they came out with in 2002 or 2003 and its so relaxing to drive. my aunt has a 99 also, and its still a great car and really had me wanting to buy one.
