high flow cat work. i got like 2-5HP more out of mine.

might look into getting pulleys cams.

pulleys no
how about d16a pistons (10.4:1 compression) and a cam

chill on the pulleys if you got a high-powered sound system (meaning just an aftermarket stereo).
Hey will the high flow cat replace my greddy muffler's cat piece?

high flow cat replaces the oem catalyic converter. All street legal exhausts come as cat-back pieces so you never touched your cat, except to unbolt it from your b-pipe.

well thats odd, cause the invidia exhaust i ordered for my civic, comes with an inline high flow cat, heres a picture:Honda Civic Invidia SUS304 Exhaust System

are you sure its not just a resonator?
no street-legal aftermarket exhaust should come w/ a cat since its gov't regulated

yeah, I've never seen an exhaust come w/ a high flow cat. resonators kinda look like cats.

that comptech exhaust looks nice though.

so a high-flow cat or resonator? Ive checked on a high flow, theyre pretty cheap. below one-hundred which means a mod that im interested in. I just need the full specs. will it pass emissions? will it replace any of my performance parts i added? like the greddy evo-2 catback exhaust

your exhaust setup probably (like 99% of them do) has a resonator already built into it...theyre like in-line mufflers.
The ebay cats are junk...theyre more of a test pipe than anything and shouldnt be used in place of the cat. It will, almost definately, not pass emissions.
If you want one, I suggest catco or carsound/magnaflow. Both of those need to have flanges welding on them...which of course raises the price. These high-flow cats MAY pass state laws, but you should call up your state ref and ask first.

No, it will not replace anything but the oem cat. If you look under the car @ the header you will see a bulged pipe (probably has heat shielding on it)...thats your cat. It is between the header and exhaust b-pipe. There is an o2 sensor inside (which would need to be added if you went w/ an aftermarket unit from carsound/catco)...which still may cause some to throw a cel because there is a lot more flow through the aftermarket, thus giving a reading that would be off from stock. -> O2 simulator or OBD1 conversion would fix that
