I bought a pair of aftermarket projection headlights for my civic. I think they look great in the day-time, but at night they suck ass. I cant see a damn thing. They are nowhere near as bright as the stock ones. I know I could just get a pair of fog lights to up the visability factor, but my last pair got stolen
I'm thinking of converting them to HID's, does anyone know if this will work? The bulbs are H3 and I have found a kit that will fit, but will this create more light, or is it a waste of money on this particular housing?

aftermarket hid kits are illegal so you shouldnt be able to buy them anywhere.
If you want to retro fit a set from a stock car, though, that is legal (dont ask me why...)
You need to be creative and it takes some time. Removing the pos lens that you have would be the first step.

(No one listens to me when I say that those lights suck...theres a reason why I know)

my brother has the angle eyes like those but they are not dim like that at all, there just as bright as stock which is an H3 bulb at like 55 watts or something I forgot, you probaly have the wrong wattage bulb in there

its not the type of light housing or size of bulb H3, H4 that establishes the amount of light it puts out its the wattage

get the hids when there in there they do look really good
cops around here dont care about headlights everyone and there mother has hids
