well you could choose a set of new rods and pistons. that will help along w/ getting lower compression pistons that will help for the increased boost. Check out www.raceeng.com

Eagle forged rods, SRP forged pistons w/ MLS high boost gasket works well together.

what engine?

If it's for a d16 there's a dude over on honda-tech that sells a nice combo that lets you run around that boost with no other mods (besides fuel obviously) you have to notch the block but you have to do that with any rod that I know of.

It's a good package.

you dont need a thicker head gasket. the pistons you get will come in different compression ratios. 9:1 would be fine.

exactly

What's the point of modifying the internals with low compression pistons and turn around get a thicker head gasket. Pointless to me. Drop the compression to whatever you like (I prefer 9.5:1) then get a stock Honda spec Cometic head gasket. You will run into timing problems on thicker head gasket since the cam will be off. It's fixable by a few ways tho, the most common is using an adjustable cam gear.

D-series turbos makes a lot of torque because of long stroke. If you bore the cylinders out, be ready to sleeve it.

Next time, please ask these types of question on the turbo forum where it belongs.

i agree 9.5:1 is better.

endyne makes some nice pistons(well they just modify custom wisecos)
