I was in at my local honda dealer getting some work done on my car today. My car has been acting up a little so I asked them if they could clean the fuel injectors for me. They told me they could not as the honda fuel injectors are self-cleaning. Can anyone verify this or pose and argument ? It just does not seem right to me ?

as long as your fuel filter is working and you haven't got anything inside the system after the filter your injectors should be fine.....did you think about changing the fuel filter, it can kill performance if it is restricted.

When they talk about self cleaning.. They are refering to carbon buildup and such on the injectors.
