is it only the 4-1 headers that seperate jdm and usdm stuff? Cause all this has is the 4-1 jdm headers and nothing else that would make it a type R

here is a gsr's blue book. Then add like 2000-2500 for everything he has added. But, I know personally I would never buy a "custom" cause you know that usually it has been abused in some way. Especailly with everything he has done

it's a little pricey, if you want a good quote go to kbb.com but i've seen one identical to that (2000, same miles) for about the same price (18.5 - 20k). I suppose you could probably talk them down some just do your homework. But dealers mark them up like shit, trying to screw people who know they're very desireable, but just don't know how much they are worth. It's nice though. Wish i had one.

no way would I pay $20k for an itr...theyre not that special.
You could pic up a teg ls for about $5k and then change to all itr parts that matter (suspension bars, brakes, 5lug, motor...seats if you care) for under 10k.

Holy mother of fuck...people actually pay that kind of money for those cars? Even with the mods I wouldn't pay more than $10K for one of those. Don't get me wrong, they're nice cars, but not $20K-at-four-years-old nice. And why all of the big fuel upgrades if it's not running forced induction? Hell...my car is a limited edition model and had fewer miles and STILL costed me less than 1/3 of that when I got it.

that is the only difference between the 2?

you can get a near brand new rsx-s for that price.

this is true. If you were gonna drop that much money on a car buy a project car. Say an teg with say h22 in it? Or something not everone has. Civic with a turboed B20 in it? Not on this car...asking way to much

Get a 94 Teg and put an ITR motor in.... it'll be cheaper.... lol.

I really wont pay that much for it. I paid $7500 for my 96 Teg GSR with a JDM ITR motor, LSD tranny, ACT Stage 3, Lightened FW, Spoon cam gears, full Fluidyne radiator, 16's Rota slips w/ new tires, Apexi N1 full cat-back, Skunk2 coils, blah blah blah...

I got rid of some those mods tho......

i think one other difference between the usdm itr and the jdm version is that if i'm not mistaken i think the jdm version has a tad higher compression (barely anything) and manages to squeak out another 5 horse i think. Hence the jdm version is 200hp and the usdm version is 195 (wow holy shit 5 hp)

the jdm is RHD, where as the usdm is LHD. that is one of the ways to tell if it is a true JDM TYPE-R

its a usdm type-r... if you want a real type-r find a cheaper one. this guy is ripping you off.

i would buy a ITR motor and swap it into a RS teg before i buy that.
