Hey guys, I've talked about buying an exhaust before, but now my stocker is completely rusted through so I have to.

I'm not really into my car that much anymore, so I don't want to spend the big $$$ on a Brullen like I once wanted. I'd get an RS*R in a heartbeat if the tip was smaller.

I'm looking for something that's not loud unless you get on it and I heard thermals are like this. Anyone have some clips on an SOHC 2.2 or 2.3?

I read an article saying that GReddy EVO is quieter, but I really kind of doubt that... he he he.. I love my thermals... Maybe hondamaniac has a sound clip somewhere....

Yeah, some other exhausts are quieter, but they have 4"+ tips, which I really don't want.

They only have the thermal classic system for my car, not the stealth unfortunately.

Thanks Thermalfi'd :)

You have one? How loud is it? I want something I can cruise around town with pretty quietly, but it gets louder when I really get on it.

Thanks Rob

Yup, I have the classic. It's not that loud during idle....it's at it's loudest about 3,000 rpm and above...other than that it just has a deep grumble....but when you get on it, it let's you know it's there.....

oh, and you're welcome ;)

Very nice. Sounds a lot like what I'm looking for. Wish it was a little more quiet, but I think it should be ok...

I take it there's no bumble bee buzzy type sound to it when you get on it? I hate that noise :D

Time to send a PM to Stefan for a price check

Nope...no bumble bee....when it gets loud, it sounds like you have a set of nuts under the hood...

If I remember correctly, you should be looking at about $450-$475 ish.....I think...

Oh yeah, a couple more things :D

I've been reading around about this exhaust and some people think its pretty loud. Some say its in between.

Does it drone @ highway speeds (60-80)?

So I know its loud when you get on it... but is it loud just driving around town? That's my biggest concern really...

Also, its 2.25" for Accord, right?

Heh, I just don't want to dump $500 and be disappointed.

Hey Trev!
If dont go with Brullen/Remus then Thermal is the way to go.
Even though its a bit louder, it still probably is a the closest match to the above.

Hey JP, that's great to know! I've been quoted in the 700-800 USD for a Brullen, and I just don't want to spend that much on an exhaust since I'll never mod my engine too much more.

go for the thermal man. I mean look at alkl these replys on it. I know where u can find a clip of it on the net. The exhaust is on a integra. IT sounds loud on the clip but it sounds good in person
