^ That's what I figured. it's like a Toyota vs. a Lexus or a Ford vs. a Mercury. It's just a slight step up in the automotive food chain.

I was under the impression that the G35 would be more, I think natural purchase would be the g35. THat think has just about everything you would want, just needs more power:bandit:

base 350 is 26k something
base g35 is 31k something
obviously if you start messing w/ options you can get them closer, the g35 comes standard w/ alot of things the 350 doesnt. thats why its called luxury.

The resell value on the 350z is horrible. You can pick up a 2k3 for about 20k

well when compairing cars i'd think equal options would give the best results? or not?

where'd you even get 31700 from, on the website is says base G35 w/ MT is 32700.
to get the bose sound system that the 350model you compare the G35 to has would be a package tacking on another $2250.
Edit: scratch that you can get just the bose system for $900

I was pricing out 96-99 maxima's and the infiniti I30 (same car) is actually cheaper used... and from what I've heard they are WAY WAY WAY nicer cars... almost uncomparable...
I read a post on a maxima forum from a guy who drove in his friends I30 a week after he bought a same gen maxima (top of the line) and he sold his max to get an I30.
I'm thinking about getting an I30... there was a 98 around here for under 5k... that's CHEAP.
