they take like a hand held camcorder into the movies in like a girls purse or something and sit in the back row. There was s store near my house that got raided for selling bootleg cd,dvds and other reasons. put them right out of bussines

I heard of people having tiny cameras in their hats and stuff. Once I bought a bootlegged vhs in china town new york the sound really sucked but it was fun

I wouldn't pay for it when you can get them off the net for free and burn them on to dvd for 30cents.
What I do is copy any dvd I rent so I get a copy for myself :D

most dvd rippers can be found online and will rip, regardless of copyright.
then you just move the file onto a blank dvd-r.
The bootlegs get leaked, a lot of times, from company workers. Those are the good ones - ie my lotr.
Only issue w/ those is about every 10mins something will scroll the bottom of the screen saying "if you bought this please contact ___" or "copyright ____ cinema" or whatever.
Then you get the crappy ones that come from people that take cameras into theaters and record it....like in that seinfeld episode :D

Exactly. I've never bought one, but I've got a ton of self-made ones. Or none at all...depending who reads this. Haha.
