si engine swap

i have a couple quesitons before i take the plunge and purchase my first car.

wanted to purchase a 92 si and basically reduce as much weight as possible.

-carbon fiber hood
-new seats
-remove everything in the back
-remove any steel panels in the car
-change steering wheel
-and whatever else you got


and then i wanna get fimilar with my car. driving around cones getting as tight as i can to the cone as fast as i can.


THEN. what would be the best engine swap? best bang for my buck?
and how much will it costs?

id much rather swap then install turbo. cause i obviously get more boost if i install turbo later on my new engine.

oh. my primary goal is a driver is to beat out one of my closest friends.

he makes the most ridiculous claims ever i just want to shut him up.
he says his uncles 45000 dollar 1980 mustang can take on any import. and yet he is unsure of whats under the hood. he also says thats the fastest you can get for that price.

he plans on driving a bmw. he says they make the best cars and no import. especially hondas can beat it no matter what.
he doesn't know what he is getting. i doubt he knows what he is talking about. but ill give him the edge. the best he'll get is a m3 and run it all stock cause he doesn't know jack shit about cars or even tools. he doesn't even have a wrench or any sort of lubication at his house.

if you can find a cheap H22a1 swap that in there. if not get a B18c1.

first, this isnt an e-racing forum so please do not post things like

I'll put it this way:
If you want to beat your friend's uncle's cousin's brother's dog's mustang youre probably going to need to find out what is really under the hood. Because right now youre looking at either an h22 or a b18c maybe either one turbo'd or w/ n2o...at the very least. If its modded like he says it is, give up and find something else to race (legally)


Oh and the best bang for your buck is n2o or if you want to swap then I suggest b18b turbo

sounds like your uncle has more money than brains. Just cuz someone buys an overpriced car doesnt mean it can kill everything. Tell him my poor old little D16Z6 Civic hatch on a 50 shot killed an M3. Of course he prolly wont believe me, or how about this honda killing an punk kid with an M3 who thinks he owns the world.
