View Full Version : Sunroof?

I got a '94 Integra LS with a sunroof as one of the features. I've been thinking about doing serious work to the car internally and externally. One of the long-term things I was considering was taking out the sunroof. I know it adds a lot of weight to the worst part of the car that I would want it; the roof. It really serves no purpose to me, and I'm MOST LIKELY keeping the A/C anyway (yes, I know, extra weight). So, I was wondering since I might keep the A/C, should I take out the sunroof to shave some extra pounds if I got a deal? Also, has anyone does this before or know how much it would cost? And if so, does the cost, amount of work, and minimal difference offset the purpose of doing it altogether?

hmmm, i like my sunroof, and considering the amount of work involved might as well get another car without a sunroof.

Why would u do something like that man? It will cost a lot just to take it out and to have every thing welded back in and all the parts and pieces taken out so i wouldnt worry bout it.

unless you pull the roof out, put in a cf or even just aluminum cover and have it bolted in place where the sunroof was. its not that hard, people have been replacing prelude roofs for quite some time.
