Can anyone help me with fixing my clutch? because everytime I press on the clutch it makes a squeeky noise. So I opened the dash on top of the pedals and put some wd-40, it stopped for a while then the sound came back just now, but even louder. Does anyone know how to make itgo away?

Lots of honda's do that and Ive never heard any ill-effects from it.
If you want, you can have the bearing inspected, but it being a 2k1 its probably fine.

I'd try teflon. A lot of gun stores have it,, and even bike shops.

Yeah, but I'm happy for what I have. Sorry, ever since I was little, I was taught to think that anything is better than nothing. And thats the way I am now. In this case, wd-40 was all I had at the time so It was definately better than nothing, thats why I'm saying it doesnt suck.

it does suck though...good in a pinch but thats about all.
Make it a good point to get good stuff from now on.

then this really isnt the hobby for you then is it?
that sounds like a real ass thing to say...but its expensive...very expensive
And really...a can of liquid wrench or silicone lube isnt much more (if at all) than wd40/donkey piss

thats the story with most civic owners, if we had money we'd be driving something better.

The first thing I learned in my research is that Honda=cheap. My Volvo is expensive as hell to fix, and it's at that point where the wierd shit is starting to break (I had a wire break sauder in the fuel ignition relay). Modding and general repair is so much cheaper than the Volvo.
And the civic is a lot better of a autox car;)

I would say honda was built to last. My sister had an accord, even though she totaled it by hitting the medium at full blast. The car was fixed by her insurance company and is still running smooth with no problems. She didnt have to replace anything else for another 5 years. The car was a 2000 honda accord v6, the whole engine was pushed back because the hit the medium so hard.
