anyone else going to this, or have been to a drift show?

Now this is just MY OPINION...

Drifting is about as gay as you can get... they took something that was used by VERY talented people in different forms of racing and turned it into a slow paced spank-fest for kids who don't understand the goal of "RACING"...

Any racing that envolves "style points" is NOT racing IMO...

Drifting can REDUCE your times in certain situations and tracks... it's NOT meant to be used as a travelling smoke show for 16yr olds who wished their civic was RWD...

drifting is all about controlling the car and having really good driving skills. IMO, i think its pretty fuckin sweet :cool:

anyways its also going to have a car show, im looking foreward to it.

^yep, the real drifting is really amazing to watch, but nonovurbizniz is right about the stupid shits that have no idea what there are doing and try drifting in the civic or any FWD car for that matter.

I went to one in irwindale speedway ant it was pretty cool but its wasnt that big of a turn-out
