I dont understand why anyone on a bike would waste their time running with a car. Most decent bikes run faster times 0-60 then just about anything currently for sale.
The WRX STI is not designed for straight line speed and the ower of that car is a fool to be putting his awd tranny through that much stress. People often over look the damages of launching such a complicated tranny from a stand still.
Anyways, if you want to see the most powerful of these two... try them from a 45mph roll.

What makes you think it was from a standing start? it was actually three rolling starts from 45, 60, and 80. I don't do standing starts. I didn't feel I was wasting my time either. The car was far from stock and I wanted to see what this new toy was capable of. The biggest gap was on the 80 roll though. When I rolled off the throttle at about 160 (indicated) there was an undetermined number of car lengths between us. (I can't estimate more than 10.)

well your details were somewhat lacking dont you think? Anywho, it was still a waste of time
The combination of a tubro and an awd system means that at higher speeds the WRX and WRX STI just seem to 'top out' as the turbo's spin out. NOt to mention the simply power:weight ratio

I know my details were lacking. I also knew I would win. I just wanted to see what she could do and have something to compare it to. It felt fast as hell, but I wanted a guage.;)
