:toofunny:LMFAO! Yes...SH-AWD is SUPER NEAT!
Honestly, I'm not all too impressed. Seems like a variation on the same basic variable AWD systems every company seems to have these days. I don't like the idea of my car controlling me. If you don't know how to take a simple corner, don't fuckin drive. You don't need a computer MAKING you take the corner a certain way.

The new RL will be the first honda/acura to make it to market with this SH-AWD from what I hear.
It sounds like a great idea. Full time AWD is over rated.

^bingo. the new Acura RL will be the first the car in america with it or legend in japan. expensive...probably just go check out the new RL on hondas site.
as for GT40 comment. true if you cant corner dont drive. but think of it as a better Auto-X component. im into drag and auto-x and i personally would love ot have that on my car for when i go auto-xing. that way i dont have to worry about under/over steer problems.

From what I've been told, and what I saw 5 months ago the new RL will be something else. I'm waiting for it to come out to decide if thats my next car.

Since you drive a RWD car this is understandable, but someone driving a FWD car should realize FWD is horrible when performance is what they're chasing.

^ This is true. I've never been much of a FWD enthusiast and my driving of FWD cars has been kept to a minimum. The pronounced understeer has kept me from taking that FWD leap. But then again...this system isn't FWD...it's AWD.

well i think it's safe to assume that 95% of the drivers on the road today can't take a freaking corner. imagine the mass transit then ;)
