Blaster Coil mounting

I am trouble shooting an ignition system (MSD 6AL, Blaster 3 Coil, MSD Cap) and I was wondering if the coil has to be mounted vertically, horizontally, or can it be at an angle?

Right now it's at a ~30 degree angle and I wonder if that's causing problems?

i wouldnt think it'd be a problem but if i were you i'd call MSD to be sure.

it dosent matter how you mount it

yeah i didnt think it did, since it doesnt matter w/ my HVC coil.

Im pretty sure that it wouldn't matter seeing some engines come with the coil mounted sideways on the engine, and some pointing straight up toward the hood but I would probably contact MSD anyways if nothing else for piece of mind
