It's been a while (10 months) since I sold my Integra, and DAMN do I miss it sometimes. I've had a lot of people ask what I replaced it with, but I kind of kept it hush-hush until I had some halfway decent pictures of it. This morning on my way back through Utah, I got my chance:

A 2000 S10, 4wd- bone stock when I got it, of course.

Now has a leveled front end, light bar, fog lights (110w- MF'ers are bright), Yakima Rack (pretty custom job done myself- 2 bike racks- converts to a 6-ski rack in the winter, and a Yakima Load Ranger, hard mounted onto the bed rails yet completely removable and lockable), hard-wired Escort Passport 8500, and one helluva system- Alpine 7998 and 6 disc changer in the center console, Alumapro Alchemy subs, Dynaudio stage, and Zapco amps- louder and cleaner than my Integra (I'd show pics, except it's all completely stealth (call BS if you want- I'll show pics of the install if you care that much, but I'm not about to rip it apart to prove myself to naysayers).

Before you rip me a new one for selling my Integra to buy a truck, let alone a (gasp!) domestic truck, let me explain why: I spend way too much time in the mountains hiking, skiing, and mountain biking, and the Integra with the dropped suspension wasn't cutting it, especially in snowy and icy Colorado winters up to the ski slope. It basically boiled down to my car or everything else I loved, and I chose my skiing, hiking, and biking over my Integra. I loved that car, but it was time to move on. :sniff:

So anyways, there it is. I love it, it runs like a champ, and it's great for what I need it to do- this week it just took me and a friend camping and hiking in Zion National Park (pics in the pics forum), it took me and the girl skiing over spring break, and it carries my bike(s) on a semi-daily basis.

But DAMN do I miss my Integra sometimes.

nice truck, sometimes i've considered switching to a truck just cause I'd be able to do more and not worry about damage but with these gas prices, that dream died out rather quickly

it's amazing how Integra owners switch to trucks....my ex-roomate had a lowered '94 Integra GSR then sold it and bought a Dakota and raised it....anyway, nice truck.......

Well, at least you explained yourself well. I did the same thing, for the same reason, only I ended up w/ a Jeep Cherokee Sport.

Some nights I lay alone and wish for the del Sol....*sniff*

Nice man. I thought about buying me one myself. Sometimes I just want to tow my car to the track. I might get me a used Suburban....

An S10? NoOoOoOoOoOoO! Just prepare for problems man...especially with a 4X4 version. My '01 Sonoma (4.3L 2WD bone stock) is, at just over 17,000 miles, already giving me tons of problems that no one can pin down. Good luck.

Mine has 42K on it and has run like a champ since I got it 10 months (12K) ago- better than my Integra did, actually. My Integra was also modded, so....

I know you hate 'em, but I think you just got a lemon.

i would kind of like a big truck. I want a Dodge with the Cummins turbo diesel in it so i can go throw on some power to it, something my teg doesnt have! hahahha
