Today they are questioning the emergency response in New York on 9/11 to "see if any more lives could have been saved." I really hate this fingerpointing and second guessing THREE YEARS after the fact. I personally believe that second guessing the job that the NYPD, FDNY, and other emergency agencies in New York on that day is dreadful. So many men and women gave their lives doing their job the best they could, and now people in suits sitting in an air conditioned room have the nerve to go back and tell these dead firemen and policemen that they could have done better. This kind of thing really pisses me off...

^ I do agree that maybe things didn't happen as quickly or as to protocol as they could of. but WTF do you expect. These people were trained as fireman and police, not to deal with a f*cking plane crashing into a building, and for that matter not TWO planes.

For a situation that they were never trained to handle, they did a pretty good damn job. We need to stop wasting our money pointing fingers and start spending it towards the future, and to help the families of those who lost.

I hate how people overlook the big picture and just concentrate on the little things... ohh, if NYFD would have gotten there 3 mins earlier they could have saved an additional 5 lives. BULLSHIT!! There was a PLANE that CRASHED into a BUILDING, you don't think this might have been a little overwhelming, and then to give them slack when so many people lost loved ones as is. LAME!!

I personally think the whole trial thing is completely ignorant..

SO what is going on with this trial anyway? Is there something on the news about it?

Well hopefuly with all this effort to see how things unfolded they'll learn for when it happens again.

Sadly its so typical bs that no good will ever really come from it.

Thats pretty much how I feel.. Im down with trying to improve something, but finger pointing and blame dont resolve anything.

I saw we should just work towards the future and fix what had happened on 9-11 and stop trying ti live inthe past...

THe past is the key to our future, theres nothing else to go on.

If people were better able ot learn from the past alot of the futures problems wouldnt repeat themselves. Very rarely does something NEW ever happen amoungst the world powers. Same stuff day in day out.

True...but the thing is, I think, and I may be wrong, that we are fixing what had happened...and for someone to bring back the whole 9-11 thing and try, I guess, to point fingers is a waste of time...
