They were a BI+ch to install... even with a "rimless" tire machine...
I got kuhmo 715 or something like that from tire rack for 58ea...
They're pretty good so far... can tell there's some more grip... no rubbing... they're not loud at all...
Mounting was a true P.I.T.A. though... on a 6.5" rim... I'm sure they'd go onto 7's or 7.5's without too much fighting...
Also the 50 in a 205 rides much smoother than a 50 in 195... theirs more sidewall shock absorbtion... at least it seems like there is...

^Bingo...
I was told they were loud tires before I got them... they're not bad at all.
After driving over 80mi. on them and breaking them in pretty well I have to say it's night and day over what it was like before...
The tires on there weren't all that great before but last season there was a decent set... this are a LOT stickier... and it feels much more solid in the corners as well as tighter steering in general...
Odd thing I've noticed is it takes a LOT more pedal effort to stop the car when going fast... and there's more nose dive when braking hard than there was before... not sure what that's about...

I've got these on mine and they ARE sticky. I've had to replace one tire due to it shredding, NO idea how that happened, I was parked and found it that way, about five inches long by about three inches wide on the tread. Thought I had to get an alignment but it was fine. The tire guy couldn't even figure out what had happened. I think I do, the tire pressure was too low and couldn't tell it was low. I know, I know, a VERY blonde thing to do. I've got the 40's, very tiny sidewall but I guess they're also runflats(?) the sidewall was the only thing that saved the rim. Live and learn. Now I check the pressure everytime I get gas and check the tires themselves when I wash the car, once a week. Yeah, I'm being anal but the tire that it happened to was the front power wheel. Kept having visions about what might have happened on the freeway and such......

I know they recalled the tire that these replaced because they were seperating....
It's not the greatest notion to me but they were DIRT cheap... and I am too.

I think I may have been wrong... I think it was a race only tire they recalled... not sure though...
Either way these are pretty nice beside the total P.I.T.A. it was to install them.
