Probably the same way he paid for his $35,000 car........

Nope...

I dunno why we always gotta go there about how I'm paying for something... geez. Why does it even fucking matter? Not like I haven't had a full-time job since I was 13 or anything... I make money, spend wisely, invest, and save. It is really rather simple...

What's that place cost... That's super pimp. In LA that place would be 1200+ easy, maybe even 1500+ depending on the area, worse would be about 900 and that'd be in the getho. My place is a little bigger and it's a score at 730$.

It is about $910/month + electricity. Comes w/ washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave and stove. www.universitydowns.com ;)

That's why I don't rent.. you pay more for your (combined) rent than I do for my mortgage.. I will never rent again.

I see your point but that's why you buy certain houses.. I live in a military town in one of the more popular areas.. so selling will not be a problem. There are at least 5 houses bought and sold every week in our development. It's kinda like this.. imagine all the rent you pay, getting back when you move out.. and then some. And when we leave we will simply rent it out, and have a property manager take care of it for us.

^ I spend $9000 a year on rent, what a waste of f*cking money. That's 9k that i'll never get back, at least with a house you have the equity of the house. I'll be buying something here in the next couple of years.

Well I'm 19 and these are some of the nicer apartments in town, and they don't sell them. If they did sell them, I certainly would have coughed up the 10k+ down payment (projected) and gained equity, but oh well...

That's true.. I forget about down payment.. which I am not subject to. Also.. owning the house and being deployed basically means I don't pay taxes.. have not for years in fact..

That's kool...I myself haven't gotten into knowing about buying and renting...I did know that you waste a lot of money renting...but as far as buying a home and equity...I am totally lost... :paranoid:

DUde nice appartment. WHat V8 said is totaly true. I would never pay money to some one and make their pocket big and at the end of the year i would never see it again, but again if u dont want to be tied to a place u gotta rent.

i thought about buying a house and renting it out, but i dont want to deal with renting to friends then having to evict them if they dont pay. i like the limited liability that comes with a apt, expecially the one im in where every person pays their cost, and if one person dosnt pay it wont screw the other 3.

Exactly...I don't pay that much for the THREE houses I own. I cna't believe that rent is that high. But I should know. All of my houses ARE rental properties....now THAT'S the way to make money! I live for free while someone else pays my mortgages! It is a beautiful apt tho. Much nicer than the ones I rent to people! LOL

Exactly.. we are getting ready to buy another house and possible a third.. there is no way you can lose when people pay your mortgage for you.

I meant to say you can tell a bachelor lives there. I think I started to say no woman lives there. I try to do to many things at the same time. Thats what happens when you try to slack at work.
