So I FINALLY managed to get an account working and I have a couple questions...

First, I have a 96 Accord EX 5-speed. The ABS light is always on but I have been told by a couple people that it's just a problem with that year of cars or something. I should just leave it be, right?

Second, I was looking at the AEM intakes because I was under the impression they were the best to get. I thought I should get a Cold Air Intake but then I see short ram and V2 and other kinds. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the different kinds?

Thanks a lot, I'm still a newb pretty much.

Nice to see someone with a car like mine, welcome to HS bro
Well as far as i the ABS thing I havent had a problem but one time I pulled an e-brake around a corner and the light stayed on for a day then turned off.
But for the Intake I'd say go with AEM for sure, dont waste the cash on the V2, not worth the extra hundred cash, I just went with the Short Ram, that way I dont worry about submerging, mainly cause I live in Florida and flooding is normal. hope this helped

ABS light is not normal, at least I've never heard of that being a problem.

For the intake, go with a plain old AEM cold air unit. General concensus is that V2 is a waste. PM hondaman-iac or go to www.styledright.com for some great prices.

yeah true I wasn't implying it's normal, I just stated that mine went off after a day, you might wanna get that checked out just in case, hate to hear your brakes locked causing a accident, take car of that Accord:thumbsup:

Yeah I got it used about six months ago. It's great. The woman who had it before kept a book with every maintenance thing or anything done to it. I need to take it in to get alignment fixed and stuff and I'll get them to look at the brakes and everything else. I did hit a dog once, but I don't think the brakes had anything to do with it. Probably more of the fact that I was going 55 and the little dog jumped right out. That was not fun, but yeah I think I'll get the cold-air intake pretty soon when I get some more money.
