should i buy this camera (http://www.kobian.com/products.php?productid=327) for $100CDN from my friend? he put in a 128MB memory card as well....i don't know much about cameras, that's why i'm asking :P

Hundred bucks? Sure, go for it. Digital cameras are awesome for taking random pics and uploading them online. Soooo handy.

never heard of a Mercury camera therefore would say it may be a waste of money, 3.1 isnt too bad but it isn't high quality. I say you save alittle money and buy a nice sony camera, those are real nice and the upper model will record motion along with still shots. right now those are around the best on the market. I'm picky aswell

I like the Mustek DV-4000. Still pics, camcorder, MP3 player, voice recorder. i'm not sure exactly how much it'd cost CDN but it's a little over $150USD.
