Men's Obsession with Asses!?!

It is obvious to me why men love breast..The whole being a baby who is breast fed and the Freud theories, whatever...but when it comes to the junk in the trunk...it is strange that we, as men, love the butt, the backside. the shabanger, the booty, the rump, etc. I mean the ass is where the booboo comes from...I don't understand it, but I love it...I love a full figured women, no matter what size panties she buys, they are fitting her small...

I am I the only one who thinks like this?

Humans, being the only bipedal mammals, had no 'tail' to look at for attraction...it wasnt shoved in their faces - ie other primate's get bright red asses
So, as an evolutionary attraction aid, females developed larger breasts. Squeeze em together and you get something that looks kinda like an ass

I forget where I heard/read that now, but I know it wasnt some bs source.

Men see a nice ass, hips and rack as a woman who would be good at rasing a child. Other then that, a nice ass is just a nice ass, why ask so many questions?

^I'm with Rob...generally women with wider hips have what most men consider nicer asses. Wider hips = child bearing hips. I think it's an unconscious evolutionary desire to find the woman best suited to give you offspring. I'm not really an ass man...I do enjoy a nice backside every now and then, but it doesn't really get me goin'.

Im with Accordinstyle...I thought that guys liked asses on women because it makes women look more attractive. I think that women look more attractive with some buttocks than girls who don't have it...and I'm a girl.

While that may be true, it's a conscious rationalization of a subconscious desire. You could give a rat's ass about what you don't understand. Everyoone does everything for a reason. Your not born an ass man or a leg man or a breast man...it's part of an instinctual desire that you're not fully aware of that makes you seek out these women.

T/A doesnt make a women pretty, they only add to the package. I would pick neither and keep shopping. There are girls out there with pretty features and curves. Actually there are alot of them here in Toronto.

not necessarily.....my taste in women are as follows:

I tend to like girls that are between 5' and 5'5" .....not because they will bear better children at that height. It's because I'm only 5'8" and I don't want to look like a pussy standing next to a girl that's taller than me.

Tit size I don't care about one bit....as long as the nipple to tit ratio is in proportion I'm good......

Now I agree with you GT that no one is born an ass man, breast man, leg man, etc....but what I am saying about myself was that I developed my preferences. When I was younger I didn't care if a girl had big tits, no tits, pancake tits, big ass, no ass, etc....basically my preferences with females was one with a heartbeat....but after being with several females I became to develop what I preferred in them....kind of like a pizza...you try a bunch of different toppings/combinations until you find the one that works for you. I like pepperoni & pineapple....and yes, I just compared women to a pizza...I'm an asshole like that but back to what I was saying....it may be true that there is some subconscious instinct driving me to be an "ass man" but I can tell you right now that it isn't because I'm looking for a female to bear my children........

as for your question Adrieanne, it depends on how ugly she was......I've been with a "buttaface" before that had an incredible body and the sex was great.......but as for her looks, well in that case beauty was only a light switch away........

I don't think I've met a guy yet who doesn't think that way. While it may be true that it's a conscious rationalization of a subconscious desire, as stated by Steve, most guys don't realize that. Take it from me, a female with "good child bearing hips" and some "junk in the trunk". I see more guys hit on girls with no hips and no ass than do.

I know a lot of us have seen the Discovery (I think it was them) documentary on international interpretation of beauty and the primal trends in male preference of the female figure.

I like a girl who is well proportioned. Some girls look good with big butts, some look good with smaller ones. As long as it looks right on the girl, I like it. There is something about a nice ass that I do like, and the best explanation is the primal desire.....
