Well I have decided to write about vtec, ive got a few ref pages now what should i make for a thesis statement, im going to cover Sohc , dohc and I- vtec. hmmm....

Just so you know honda was not the first to use veriable valve technology not even close to the first. They where just the first to make it a household name.

Honda was the first to use varible valve timing in a production car in 1991, w/ the nsx
Every car that uses it today is basically a variation of vtec from then

its true they werent the first to come up with the tech, but they were the first to use it in a production car (said above) and then bring it down through the model lines, so now even a civic has it.

Hmm.. Yet another VTEC write up? I'd really just look for another topic honestly. Its been beaten to death.
Then again, it does make easy access to "already written works". ;)

First to use it in the US.....there is a big world out there US is a small part.....i belive fiat used it atleast 10 years before honda

when I said "first production car", thats exactly what it means.
Honda was #1
Now, there was varable valve gearing for a long time before that, but nothing w/ electroic control - ie vtEC
