Site rearranging

Is there anyway that the nitrous/turbo/all-motor forums can be put on the main list so its just one click and your in? I think thatd bring more traffic to them.

At the same time could some stuff be merged into one, like security systems/ sounds systems, and also some of the classifieds could be merged or perhaps even dropped.

and why does the typeR need its own category? its not that different from the GS-R.

Just trying to make things better so tell me what you think.

people have complained about type r having its own section before. no one posts there as is it.
(I belive it should be engulfed by the integra forum too)

I agree that the Classifieds needs some work.
All things not listed tend to go to Misc. That includes NA parts! There needs to be a motor section, and I think one devoted to oem honda parts (then people could post their "parting out" threads there instead of misc, too).

As for the tech section:
NA should have its own place and FI should too (that would include sc,turbo,n2o). Pull the sections out on their own.
Sound systems and 12v should be combined.

all that sounds good, i was just really hoping turbo/sc could be one forum and nitrous could have its own since its pretty much completely different from snails/blowers.

who makes these kinda changes?

it doesnt now, but I'm gonna try and change that as i post up my ongoing nitrous install/upgrade thread. hopefully that'll bring in some traffic and let people see its not that scary to spray.

Yes, I saw this in the evening. I was writing a reply, then took off to see how some other sites have it set up.

The All Motor forum looks kind of pointless.. last post was on 12/30. I would say maybe get rid of that forum completely and just move all the posts to the High Performance forum. Should we also merge the superchargers/turbos forums? Or keep them separate? Not many posts in superchargers.

We could merge sound and v12 together if thats what you want. I'll take a look at the classifieds.

Was also thinking of changing the default display on the forums that don't get much posts to show a larger time frame so that they'd will look more full.. At least if someone comes by and see something they are interested in, they'd at least post something.

yeah i think superchargers/turbo's should be one forum, and nitrous another, BUT have them on the main forum listing, not under "high performance" I mean why are we all here? not for low or medium performance.

merging sound and 12v would be a good idea, as well as merging some of the classifieds stuff, alot of things being sold could be put into like 2 or 3 categories as it is right now.

i like that idea of changing the default time window to show more posts in the slower forums.

I still say dont "merge" sc and turbo...just have 1 catagory called forced induction
