IMO, dont buy a swap from Hmotorsonline.com or any other online company.
Get the motor locally, just look around. . . . after getting my swap my friend who owns a tranny place keeps getting offers to buy GSR motors . . . :argh:

Isn't Hmotors the MOST respected online engine vendor there is???
I know YOU have your differences with them but it's not like they sold you a bunk motor and told you to F off...
Osaka was the worst... but they changed names and ALLEGEDLY business practices.

Yes, but Homomotorsonline also sold shave a motor which has been nothing but trouble . . . .
Dont order online - find a B18C locally.

well I do know Hmotorsonline.com does check their engines over, (compression test, crank end play check, ect..). I got a D16Z6 from them 2 years ago for my 92 Civic CX. 40,000 miles later, lots, and lots, of abuse, and track runs (even nitrous for about 300 miles), and the car still runs very strong. Its got a new owner now. He actually let me drive it last week thats how I know. I am shocked, as well as suprised considering I havent seen the car for a while and was worried something happened to it.
As cash says it might be best to try locally. Not to mention u prolly will get a better deal considering u dont have to worry about shipping, and u dont have to worry about broken sensors (which my engine did from the shipping). Also u can go and do a cold compression check on the engines, and check the car out yourself. The only problem is that in my experience that anything other than the D series engines, gets sold from local yards within hours. Very, very hard to get ahold of in my experience.
