How to get this piece of trim off?

Mine's chipped to hell and Id like to replace it this summer but no where in helm's does it say how to do it.
Im sure its just a clip thing...but I dont want to get into it w/o having a single clue.

hmm well when i did new speakers in my doors i took out the door panels. That usually gives you a good view of what's going on inside the door as well as what might be holding that piece on. You also might have more room to remove it.

hmm well i'm a moron and i'd just get a new door. lol or you could try to ask some dirtbags at the honda dealership. Other than that i can only guess that there's probably some tool made to take it off that will probably cost you 49.95 +tax of course. gotta love honda service stations. other that that, trial and error, and then replace what you break that's what i always do

Ive been told by my stealership not to come back. Theyve broken things and had to replace them...didnt like doing it so said not to return.
Eh...I'll probably just go by what the new one looks like to figure it out.

I had to replace them on my '93, I would think they would be the same. They just pop off, but start at the end by your door handle. Try and just pry the corner up and it should come off. Hope it works.

For 5th gen as well as yours I BELIEVE... to do it "by the book" it envolves removing the window glass...

If you're replacing it with a new one and don't mind risking dropping some broken bits of plastic into your door frame you can do it as mentioned (prying)...

ALthough I'm pretty sure you'll have to remove the sideview mirror first.

I've had that piece sitting in my kitchen for over a year (when I made that post about all the crap I ordered from Manchester Honda) I read the install instructions and said NO WAY till I have some dynamat and undercoating spray to deaden some sound in the doors while the glass is out. Also I'd get both at the same time...
