All three of Raimi's early movies kick ass...Evil Dead I & II and Army Of Darkness (Evil Dead III). I don't know that they're scary but they're some of the most classis horror flick of all time. During the summer of '95 just about every day there'd be a ton of people that'd come to hang at my house and almost every day we'd watch Army Of Darkness before heading out to do whatever....it simply never gets old. Best trilogy ever.

Edit: If you notice, Same Raimi can't help using Bruce Campbell in all the stuff he does. He's got a cameo in Darkman (at the very end), in spiderman (as the ring announcer) and in Raimi's shitfest television ventures Hercules, Xena, and Campbell's own show Jack Of All Trades.

But it's not supposed to be scary. It's really more funny that anything.

The second one is better...but it's weird. It's the same plot but it's supposed to take place like the first one never did...even though it's the same place. Then Bruce Campbell acts like he's been through it all before but that's not how it's supposed to be. But the second one has a lot of great catch phrases.

^^Mwahahaha! "This is my BOOMSTICK". A good friend of mine actually uses random AOD catchphrases when he nails a girl sometimes. Shit like "Gimme some sugar baby" and "Awwww...that's just what we call pillow talk baby" and of course the boomstick quote.

Ok...I saw evil dead last night...it was the 70's or 80's version where the girl gets raped my the trees...it was cheesy and funny...kinda weird.
They don't have the newer version here so I can't watch that one until I get home.

That's the first one. Evil Dead II is basically the same thing with different characters and it's a shitload funnier.

I have Evil Dead and AOD but haven't gotten II yet...looking forward to it.

I used to have all the AOD sound clips set up for DoomII, ah the good ole days.
