did anyone else read about the Fallujah, Iraq shit that went down?
how they shot, torched, dragged the bodies of 4 US civilians who worked for a security contracting firm through the streets and then hung the corpses on the bridge for display?? I'm curious what everyones reaction was and if you didnt hear about this here is the infamous picture (warning: quite disturbing)
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/040331/481/bag10803311349
personally I think that this is crazy, I saw a headline for an article titled "Iraq, Bush's vietnam" honestly I agree with that plain and simple, do we have the right to be there, didnt we get what we were supposed to be there for??

theres a few more on that sight showing some citizens hacking a charred body with f$ckin shovels...honestly who the hell would do that...apparently they have some stomch for that kind of mutilation..

they didnt "torch" their bodies where charred because of the rpg the exploded on the humvee they where in. No we didnt get what we went there for. We went in search for the terrorist leader Osama. Yet we come out fighting a fucking war against iraq because bush dont want to be made out to look like a coward. So we just kinda let osama off the hook and "hunted" for hussein
my personal opinion....the whole f@cking country needs to be leveled.....bbq'd Iraqi for everyone....

What if the US were to do that with Iraqis? People would be outraged.
This can't go on. They are LITERALLY getting away with murder. Those 4 people didn't deserve to die, neither did the people in 9/11, neither did the people in spain...neither did...see where I'm going.

neither did the 1000's of iraqi civilians that died and we cheered about it. its amazing how horrible things look from the other side of the glass

The draft will not happen.. let's not go into that again.. I remember when the war started everyone was convinced they were gonna start up the draft again.

War is illogical.
Well its logical to some demented capitalists.
From the first war on Iraq, U.S oil companies made a killing.
The second attack was also planned(Donald Rumsfield probabaly had a document ready a few years ago with projections and financial and marketplace analysis resulting from a second war on Iraq). Its all about making money.
Corperate America.
By the way those pics are vulgar and disgusting, how can someone do that to another human. There are some issues in that Country, there seems to be a lot resentment towards the United States.
I really don't like politics.

Wow.. we're gonna get into it aren't we? First off war is not illogical. That doesn't even make a damn bit of sense. The part about Donald Rumsfeld and documents, financial blah blah blah.. come one now. Don't be an idiot. And those pics upset you did they?? Well imagine that, multiplied by about 1000, and you had a basic day in Iraq before we got there. Saddam and his sons raped and murdered on a regular basis. If you post next time, please at least pretend like you know what you are talking about.. thanks.

Typical American Patriotism. Always see the one-sided view.
Its not your fault your media is biased.
Watch some International news, please.

not to sound cold, but innocent americans die every day outside the US, this was just something they could use to drive the hatred for Iraq, falluja does however just need to be leveled, no nukes necessary, there is enough fire power in country to take care of it.

i agree, i hate this "we live in a bubble" feeling that if anything bad happens to us because of what we did, we need to get them back 10x worse. its amazing what nationalism does to the free mind

Please.. YOUR media is biased. You know what my media is? It's called actually being there and all over that fucking country. So don't tell me what you THINK you know, because you don't have a damn clue. All media is biased moron. International news? Yea because CNN and FOX news is not biased. What international news do you watch? Al Jazeera?? lol

I watch more than one source of news media. Since many news sources are biased I like to watch more than one. In my opinion Fox news and CNN aren't the greatest News to watch.
I never said Sadamm Husein was a good guy. What I'm trying to tell you is that there's more to it than "Weapons of Mass Destruction".
Al Jazeera, Iraq? okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk............
I'm not saying one Country is better than the other.
Just like the Iraq's are brainwashed into believing Sadam is good guy. The same thing happens in other countries. For example some people from the United States are brainwashed into thinking they are perfect.
Did you know there was a time when the United States was funding Osama Bin Ladin so he could carry out his own interests.

Dude just stop now.. you are really making yourself look like a true moron. Where in the crist did you hear that the iraqis thought Saddam was a good guy? 99% of them feared him like you fear a nail through your dick. Even his family feared him. DO research for at least 5 minutes before you post again.

It seems to me that you never passed elementary grade school considering you havent really learnt how to read what people say.
where in my post did i say that [people THOUGHT he was a good guy ?? I said theyre made to believe. ever watch the time saddam released all those prisoners from Iaqi jails ?? ever watch the time he declared he won with 100% of the votes (the election). Its different no one believed him but he tried to make his people believe he was good and i dont recall ever saying anything more than that !!
Problem with you is that you want to read what you want to and interpret things the wayyou seem fitting.
Problem is for you life is nothing more than black and white. there is no middle ground .. its like the statement, youre with us or without us.
none of us here believe saddam's a good guy ... hes prolly the scum of the Earth. But im willing to keep my eyes open and view flaws in systems other than that of the Iraqi Govt.
news services like cnn and fox are very bias. They always report facts but the facts are bias. They show what sells, what they want people to hear and blockade all the news that should not be shown on TV
But this is useless. It seems to me that I'm talking to someone whos not willing to look beyond their own TV stations or news websites and open ones horizons beyond those that his/her own country presents. BIAS news exists in all medias. The only way of coming to any sort of unbiased interpretation to these NEWS is by exploring all information that is out there, whether its Iraqi TV or Combodian National Television (if needed). Looking at ones own news channel and presenting views is nothing different than blasting the guy who fights with you online or anywhere else when his only source of news is Al-Jazeera
I pretty much expect you to come back with another flaming cooment but I dont really care. For all its worth, i expect nothing more than picking at my words and misinterpreting them to be something else.

My comment indicates that Al Jazeera is not a local Iraqi network. Its a Qatar based News Comapany.

I didn't know that mass murdering and raping your own people won you votes! Why would his actions make people like him?

You have very little life experience. I read more in one day than you probably do in a month. In addition to that, I have spent over a year in that part of the world.

damn...this thread turned into a firefight.:o
news is made to create patriotism thats no doubt. They need to build support somehow, where would we get the soldiers willing to risk their lives.
I cant support the thought that he tried to make people love him, he just threatened, and they knew that if they were to disagree with anything they'd find themselves in front of a firing squad or just murdered in cold blood
but I honestly dont think that there will ever be peace in that country, not with the radicals there, and there will never be a way to get rid of them
We are on the track to destroying ourselves, no doubt

once again, youve done nothing more than read my words teh way you have wished them to so maybe ill spill out exactly what im trying to say ....
My posts point out nothing more than the fact that news medias are biased, either they be in USA or Canada or Iraq or Australia. That is all.
And you are seeming to take things as black and white. Because im not supporting anyone on these sides at all.
Al jazeera ?? Dude, I'm not even talking about it. Why do you keep bringing it up ?? are you so obsessed with the network that youre dying for me to say something regarding it so you can contrdict me ?? I dont plan on talking about things I do not know about so please stop mentioning al jazeera again and again.
once again, you seem stuck on the mass murdering and stuff. Did you not ever look at the side where Saddam tried to win his people over ?? I guess you never did. well that side existed. Even the US made a big deal about it. Most of what Saddam said was complete and blatant lie but he did try portraying that to him people and the world.
I do not plan on visiting this thread again. Clearly, you do nothing more than manipulate people's posts and add further meaningless to your posts, not the competency i would expect from a university student
